Jere A. Wells

 Jere Wells is the director of the Educational Leadership and Ministry (ELM) program at Yale Divinity School, a program sponsored by Berkeley, the Episcopal seminary at Yale. Following his wife Della to New Haven when she was a student at YDS/Berkeley, Jere had retired from a career as a school administrator at the Westminster Schools in Atlanta. Della and Jere now reside in Newport, RI, where she is the rector of Emmanuel Church. In addition to his work with ELM, Jere also serves as Berkeley’s communications coordinator. Jere and Della have two adult children, both of whom live in NYC with their respective partners, and dote on their beloved black Lab, Buoy. Jere has served on the ECY board since 2017..
